Home and Garden Show
Buckle up and start your journey with eight acres of home and garden inspiration sprinkled with music, food, drinks, and fun! Immerse yourself in the Community Gardens 6th Annual Home and Garden Show of Bastrop on Saturday and Sunday, March 2nd-3rd, 2024. You can roam the property for ideas and enjoy entertainment, vendor booths, food, drinks, and plenty of fun.
Sherwood Forest Faire
Get dressed up in medieval or fantasy costumes and be part of the show at the 15th Annual Sherwood Forest Faire! Going in costume is an exciting way to plunge headfirst into the past. Be on the lookout for legendary heroes like Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham! This fair lasts from Saturday, March 2nd through Sunday, April 21st, 2024, so you can catch all 150 live performances and 170 artisans. Imagine the memories you’ll make at the pub singalong, watching glass blowers and blacksmiths, and cheering at the jousting tournaments.
Nick and Paige at Neighbor’s Kitchen and Yard
The next part of your journey takes you to Neighbor’s Kitchen and Yard for a soul-touching show by Nick & Paige. Get down to Neighbor’s on Friday, March 8th, 2024, to soak up tunes with soul, spiritual, and gospel influences. Even though they met and started performing in Chicago, they now call themselves Texans, and you’ll hear the local influence in their honest, heartfelt songs. Take the whole family, enjoy delicious food, and add this unique experience to your story.
Blow Your Own Glass Beer Mugs
Next is your chance to earn bragging rights as a genuine glass blower! Yep, you can blow your own glass beer mug or vase on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, at Lost Pines Art Center’s glass-blowing silo on the back lawn. You and your kids (ages 14+) can each have a session with a seasoned artisan. You get to choose your design and colors, and Manda Barnes will ensure you have fun making your mug and new memories. Anyone can watch, so bring your own audience to cheer you on.
Free Music in the Park
Top off March with a free concert at Fisherman’s Park. You’ll enjoy the sweet sounds of Vanessa Barbee and Max Rios on Thursday, March 14th, 2024. Bring a blanket or chairs and a picnic if you want, then sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. There are few things better than an outdoor concert as the temperatures begin to warm up!
